Owning an Oriental Shorthair had been on my bucket list since working at HPVH. These two little guys have lived up to my expectations. They will be 10 months in a couple of days. If anyone is looking for a fabulous cat, I highly recommend Debbie Modderman. our boys are cuddle and sweet and the perfect companions (aside from Lily, our Labradoodle of course).

Romeo & Pekoe

Romeo and Pekoe are the most affectionate, wonderful and beautiful cats I have ever owned. Their personalities and temperaments are spectacular. I could not recommend Debbie enough for blessing me with these two lovely boys.

Osiris

Thank you again for the wonderful kitty. Osiris is simply the most cuddling, adventurous, playful cat. I couldn’t ask for more. He has made the fame as the crag cat in the climbing community with his big personality and beautiful eyes 🙂

Maya

I got my beautiful girl Maya from Debbie in 2017. She joined our family of two Siamese cats. Maya quickly became my best friend. She follows me everywhere. I call her my Velcro kitty. She gets me up in the morning and tucks me in at night. She is also best friends with my two other cats. Debbie was also kind enough to deliver Maya to me here in Victoria. We’ve kept in touch ever since. Should you decide to get a kitten from Debbie, you will not be sorry. I would definitely look to Debbie for another kitten in the future! Thank you so much for my ❤️ cat!

Snowman

I always was fascinated with the Oriental Short Hair breed. The elegant, slender look and intelligence made them so very special from many other cats that we had. Champion Azorez Snowman became a part of our family this summer and won our hearts right away. He is so much more than we expected – very intelligent, affectionate, playful, and a gorgeous looking cat. He brought so much joy and happiness into our lives.

I had Snowman shipped to me from California. Since I never had an animal shipped to me and it was new to me, Debbie and Ted made it very easy. They helped me to arrange all the flights and paperwork. Everything went smoothly and fast, in about 3 days we welcomed our new addition to the family. Debbie tries very hard to bring the very best bloodlines to make sure all her kittens are healthy, good looking and with great personalities. Looking forward to purchase another kitten from her in the future.

Spencer

To anyone wishing to purchase a cat or kitten from Debbie, I can attest that you will receive one of the best felines you will own in your life! My Spencer came to me 2 years ago via airplane, and the moment I opened the carrier, out came this bouncy, happy, silly and sweet boy. My communication with Debbie throughout the entire process was flawless. She got me through every step of the way, since I had never had an animal shipped before. She gave me updates of my boy, descriptions of his developing personality, and described his heritage to me. We coordinated the flight, the entire transaction, the transport service, and she kept in touch and informed me of everything. Spencer is now 2 years old, and he is as happy, silly and sweet as the day he arrived. He has the most personality of any cat I have owned, and I attribute it to Debbie’s attentiveness and passion towards all of her Orientals. She is a true representation of what it takes to be an excellent cat breeder. I can’t thank you enough Debbie!

Lyra & Lorek

Azorez Cattery breeds such beautiful cats with amazing temperaments! I have two Azorez Oriental Shorthairs: Lyra, 4 years old and Lorek, 10 months old. They are the most social, intelligent, chatty little cats I have ever met. They love being with me at all times!

I had both my kittens shipped to me, and Debbie did her best to work with my crazy schedule and got them to me quickly and safely. She’s always available to answer questions that I have, and she really cares about her cats.

Azorez Tathar Silver Myst

5 years ago, I had to put my Snoop cat down because he had cancer. We immediately reached out to Debbie for a replacement, she only had one to offer. We called him Azorez Tathar Silver Myst, after one of my characters and he arrived after a long journey across half the continent. The first thing I did was take him to the local vet to introduce them. She held him in one hand and fell in love. He still is one of her favourite cats, despite being very shy. He has since grown out of that and has become a favourite of everyone that works there. They all want to assist her when we go for his checkups. They tell him he is the most beautiful cat in the district. He doesn’t fit in the vet’s hand anymore, but where he was shy before, he now purrs for them. He is the King of our home, he has become the star of my blog. Any questions I have, Debbie has been there to answer. I couldn’t ask for a better cat or support system. Would I recommend her as a breeder? I constantly do. If I ever need to replace a cat, I will know where to go. Thank you for my precious kitty, Debbie.

Indy

I cannot believe what a year this turned out to be! One year ago today, I picked Indy up. Indy has been everything I was hoping for and more! He is TICAs second best spotted blue tabby, RW second best kitten, RW 14th best short hair, and a Quadruple Grand Champion! He’s been working on his show attitude in hopes to achieve supreme.

Debbie, thank you for the extremely beautiful boy and helping to make this all possible! I’m looking forward to the Spokane Regional Show in a week!

Mr Bashful

Update on Mr Bashful (Yoshi): Our beautiful boy is thriving! I could look at that face all day! He has become quite the lap cat & finds my lap whenever I sit down! He is a talker & always gets the last word! He & our chocolate girl Neeko are best buddies. They sleep in our bed every night. He no longer leaves the room when someone he doesn’t know comes. My only issue is that he is always hungry. I am certain he would get to be a 20-pounder if I let him eat at will. I try to keep him around 8oz. We love our Yoshi! Thank you, Debbie!
